WHAT DO I NEED TO BRING IN TO GET MY TAXES DONE?
We recommend you bring in the following if applicable: 1) All W-2 forms 2) All 1099 forms (incl interest earned, brokers stmt, dividends, etc.) 3) All mortgage statements 4) All 1098 forms 5) Settlement Closing Statement on new and refinanced mortgages 6) County Property Tax Bill 7) Child care expenses (incl tax ID #, amount and address of person or agency) 8) Charity Contributions (if non-cash please estimate value) 9) Student Loan interest paid 10) If sold stock need: original date purchased, amount of original purchase, amount of sale for each stock. 11) Any document that indicates it is tax related.

CAN WE ELECTRONICALLY FILE OUR TAXES?
Yes, for the current year only. Neither the state nor the federal government will allow you to electronically file prior years taxes.
HOW ARE APPOINTMENTS HANDLED?
We at B&R Tax Service pride ourselves on quick and accurate turn around. We expect all our clients to be on time and if that is not possible to call immediately to reschedule. Please come prepared to have your taxes completed during your appointment and to pay for your services at the end of your appointment.
HOW CAN I PAY FOR MY SERVICES?

HOW DO I CONTACT YOU WHEN IT'S NOT DURING THE NORMAL TAX SEASON FROM JANUARY THRU APRIL 15?
There are no regularly scheduled business hours at any other time of the year. The best way to contact us is by mail or email. You may send email to ContactUs@brtaxservice.com. Under no circumstances should you just stop by on the off chance someone might be available.
HOW DO I GET MY PROPERTY TAX REFUND PROCESSED WHEN IT'S NOT TAX SEASON?
The state of Minnesota allows for these forms to be processed a year in arears. If you get your county property tax bill after your tax appointment then you could opt to mail it to us or wait until your tax appointment the following year.
